Having problems with your 2004 Pontiac Grand Am ?

Surprize, I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand AM with Starting Problems.

\015 It will crank but not fire. I wennt through the whole ignition replacement and teaching. It started then. Now on a cold start (1st thing in the morning or after work) it won't start. I replaced the fuel pump relay. I do not have any lights that stay on, like the ssecurity. I can get the car to start by disconnecting the neg terminal on the battery momentarily. Maybe it could be the BCM? Yes /No?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 25-05-2020

Answers :

Sound like battery weak or battery cables and battery terminals need cleaning.check battery volts should be 12.6 volts.if you loosen move battery cable car crank could have faulty battery cables.i would check out battery and cables first could be a cheap fix not much wrong.
