Having problems with your 2004 Saturn VUE ?

The clutch wont engage on my 96 saturn

\015 I was having trouble getting it into gear and then all of a sudden the clutch wouldn\342\200\231t engage at all. It happened very abruptly. I took my break off and the car would just go. I was stuck in 2nd and had to turn the car off at stop lights on the way home. \015\012 \015\012I checked the hydraulic fluid and it was full. I don't want to have it towed to the shop if it needs the clutch replaced...but I was wondering if it could be a smaller problem I could afford?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 06-07-2020

Answers :

Your hydraulic clutch release has failed, it consists of a master cylinder and a slave cylinder, they will both have to be replaced.
