BMW 2002 X5 Battery Drain

\015 I purchased a used 2002 BMW X5, for a few months the car worked fine. After that time that's all she wrote, the battery kept having a drain. I've had the mechanic test or try to fix it a number of occasion no success. Actually it will be fine for a short period and right back to a drained battery. The battery use to be on a a timer I will say because every few days it will drain to where another jump. I am trying to make a long story short but I really need HELP!\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 20-05-2019

I am having the same problem with my 2002 X5. There is a motor or fan running behind the AC control panel on the dash and if I pull fuse 48 it stops and the battery doesn't drain. Still looking for the cause and solution so that I don't have to keep pulling and installin fuse 48. BMW garage suggested that it was the Final Stage Blower Resistor. I replaced this and no change. I hope someone has an answer that will help us both.
