Having problems with your 2005 Chevrolet Impala ?

I am working on a 05 Impala and the car always ran fine until about a week ago when it was having trouble starting. You had to crank it over for quite awhile to make it start, once it started it ran absolutley fine. So I was then told (not my car by the way, its a realitives) that they went to try and start it and it didn't want to start at all but then later would. So it was towed to a repair shop (under warrenty) and it was there for 5 days and the said they cant find out whats wrong with it e

Answers :

I would tend to believe that its a cps cam or crank positioning sensor depending where it is on the flywheel if it stop on a good spot it starts and if started on a bad spot it wont I had a dodge that did the same thing.
