Answers :

While water is a coolant, Water is NOT what you want to put into the radiator by itself. The coolant that goes into the radiator contains rust inhibitors and other ingredients. The radiator is in the front of the vehicle but you will generally fill the tank on the right fender that feeds the radiator. The type of coolant that should be used should be identified on the cap, but if someone has changed it you need to make sure you do not mix different types. Check the color - do not mix green based coolant and red based coolant.
The coolant can be found at most stores that sells automotive products. You will need a 50/50 mix of water and coolant. If you had drained you old coolant you can purchase premixed cooland were no water is added. I would purchase two gallons of cooland for you vehicle and change the thermostat as well
