How do I remove the blower motor on a 2005 Chevy Silverado SS?

Answers :

The motor is above the passengers feet.
Remove the screws then twist it and it will drop out.

It is underneath the passenger side of the dash.

Remove the sound insulator panel:
2009-06-19_151331_2009-06-19_091136.pngOnce you remove that, disconnect the blowermotor connector and remove the blower motor retaining screws and drop the blower motor:
2009-06-19_151453_2009-06-19_091213.pngImportant: Cut through the case as straight as possible because the motor cup must be reused. In order to prevent damage to the component, do not cut any deeper than necessary to remove the motor cup.

Cut out the blower motor using a utility knife in the narrow groove of the lower case.

Remove the blower motor nuts.
Remove the blower motor from the blower motor cup.
