Having problems with your 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer ?

The tachometer needle is out of position

\015 The tachometer seems to respond to the engine speed but the needle starts at about the 4pm position on the gauge and tries to move further clockwise as the engine speed increases. Is there a way to reset the needle to its original position? Thanks.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 20-01-2020

This is a common issue with the 03-06 Trailblazer instrument clusters and is caused by failing stepper motors on the cluster's circuit board. Check out his page for more on how to fix it - Trailblazer tachometer doesn't work
