'05 Chrysler Pacifica A/C Defrost Problem

\015 When driving the expressway for more than 45 minutes to an hour, the volume of air through the vents drops to nothing. I must cyle the compressor off for a couple minutes, then back on to restore flow of air. After the first occurrence, it recurrs at about 20-25 minute intervals.\015\012\015\012Driving around town it never happens. It only happens when driving on expresway for more than 45 minutes and only when compressor is running. I've tried using both manual and auto modes and the problem continues.\015\012\015\012Dealer service shop is unable to recreate problem and will not put a tech in the car on the expressway for an hour.\015\012\015\012Any others have this problem? Any suggestions?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 15-04-2019

I am having an issue with connecting a recharge freon kit to the valve on my 2005 chrysler pacifica. Is there a secret to this action?
Pollen filter clean?? does AC have the right charge of gas and refilled from weekend mechanic bottle of freon,it may pay to have the system emptied then recharged to the correct weight of gas and try that in case its freezing up after so long .Have had this before with a ford escort that was overcharged with gas ,i also washed the rad inside the vehicle because it was full of **** and after its works fine in fact i have just taken this vehicle for its mechanical inspection some six months after repairing the AC and it was fine
