How do I add 134a - 2005 Chrysler Pacifica

Answers :

You will need to get a can of R-134, preferably one with a hose and low side fitting already attached. There will be sticker under the hood that will tell you how much the system holds. Do not exceed this amount.

Next find the low side fitting. it will be on the larger line and will be the smaller of the two fittings. Start the vehicle and turn on the a/c. Install the hose from the can of freon onto the low side fitting. Open the valve on the can. you should be able to hear/feel refrigerant transferring to the a/c system. Once pressure starts to build you should see/hear the a/c compressor kick on. when the can is empty (it will take a while) turn off the valve on the can and remove the fitting. Do not turn off the vehicle or a/c while the can is attatched!
