Having problems with your 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee ?
The gear shift protector is all of a sudden gone when placed in Park. It's covered when in drive. What happened. Where is it?

Its possible that you have any plastic part break in there;
Shifter trim bezels \015\012(2005-2010)
_Shift bezel inner trim
_Shift bezel outer trim
\015\0121. Remove the chrome inner \015\012trim piece first by gently prying it up with a trim stick. Once started,\015\012 the piece can be lifted up with your fingers, slowly moving around the \015\012perimeter of the trim piece. The larger outer trim, which contains the \015\012small storage pocket, is removed the same way.
