Having problems with your 2005 Mazda MPV ?
Slow starting...seems like its going to stall out when sitting at light, but does not yet...recently had first tune up at 75,000 mi.
Answers :
Have PCM updated at dealer(can repair some driveability and emissions issues) .Check batt and alternator and starter for proper voltages.
Measure the battery voltage at the posts with the engine running--It should measure 13.5 to 14.5 volts. If near 12.6 volts or less, the alternator or it's regulator may need repair or replacement. Take the car to an auto parts supply house that will test the system for free. They do so in the hope that you will buy needed parts from them. Hope this helps.
