Having problems with your 2005 Nissan Altima ?

Water? Last night I drove through a puddle of water which everyone in front and behind me made it fine. I was driving my 2005 nissan altima and it died right in the middle of the puddle. It woundn't start back up, had to push it home. Still won't start today and jumping it didn't work. It doesn't make a noise when I turn the key. I can't afford to take it to a shop...any ideas whats wrong?

Answers :

The Cap and wires are most likely still wet (must have been a really large puddle). You can open the hood and try to air dry them or get a can of starting fluid and spray the cap and wires to dispel the water. Let the fluid evaporate and try to start the car. Best of luck.
