Having problems with your 2005 Nissan Frontier ?

A puff of smoke into cab (vents), then the AC turned off

\015 For about a month a squeaking sound has been getting louder from the engine bay. I as assuming it was the power steering since it was in the belt drive area. Today then we turned the AC on, a puff of smoke came into the cab from the vents. And no cold air. I would like to assume it was the compressor since I have been hearing that sound for a while in the belt line. Am I correct, or should I check someplace else?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 21-05-2018

Answers :

Of course check the compressor for malfunction but that would never explain a puff of smoke in the cab what did the puff of smoke smell like just a water vapor electrical, rubber,
