Having problems with your 2006 Chevrolet Equinox ?

2006 Chevy Equinox won't start, battery is fine...clicks like starter problem but lots of internal lights come on. Had been behaving oddly when turning key to start, "delayed" starting, prior to this nonstarting issue.

Sounds like you have a starter solenoid problem. Or maybe loose connections on solenoid.
