Having problems with your 2006 Chevrolet Impala ?

I try to replace the relay fuse for the power seats but it does nothing except get really hot. Why and what can i do?

Does it click on and off? You may have a fuse which is not rated high enough to handle the power drawn by the circuit. Check how many amps it is supposed to be, either on the cover or in the compartment, depends where that particular relay is. Heat is usually cause by a circuit which doesn't have connections/wires good enough for the current draw. Another possibility is that you may not have the relay completely pushed in.
