It has a 5.0 motor which is a 305, we only have a shifting problem when the engine heats up.. it will not downshift. you have to shift it manually to get it into first gear at a stop, already changed the 3-2 and 2-3 selonids. it worked good for a couple of days. Then it went back to the same problem. changed the knock sensor in the motor, the engine light is on and the code keeps coming up for that po327
P0787 means Shift/Timing Solenoid Low

P0973 means Shift Solenoid "A" Control Circuit Low

P0976 means Shift Solenoid "B" Control Circuit Low

P2767 means Input/Turbine Speed Sensor "B" Circuit No Signal

P2764 means Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid \015\012Control Circuit Low

Cause: The most likely cause of this condition may\015\012 be a loss of voltage to the transmission on circuit 1020. This loss of\015\012 power may be caused by an open in the ignition switch. This condition \015\012my also be the result of an incorrect installation of an aftermarket \015\012electronic device such as a remote starter or alarm system.

Correction:
If the vehicle is equipped with an aftermarket \015\012electronic device and the DTCs are being set when the device is being \015\012used, verify that the appropriate fuse is being supplied battery voltage\015\012 during operation. If voltage is not present at this fuse, these DTCs \015\012will be set due to lack of voltage at the solenoids. This condition is \015\012most likely to occur with an incorrectly installed remote starting \015\012system. If this is the case, refer the customer to the installer of the \015\012system for corrections. ANY REPAIRS DUE TO AFTERMARKET INSTALLATION OF \015\012ACCESSORIES IS A NON-WARRANTABLE ITEM.

With the ignition switch in the RUN position, \015\012test for battery voltage at the circuit fuse in the transmission \015\012solenoid power supply circuit. Refer to the appropriate SI Document for \015\012the transmission solenoid power supply circuit information. \015\012
\015\012If battery voltage is present at the fuse, inspect the ignition voltage \015\012circuit between the fuse and the transmission for possible opens. \015\012
\015\012If battery voltage is not present at the fuse, test for continuity \015\012between the fuse and the ignition switch. If NO continuity is between \015\012the fuse and the ignition switch, repair the open in that circuit. \015\012
\015\012If you have continuity between the fuse and the ignition switch, the \015\012most likely cause is the ignition switch. Replace the ignition switch \015\012using the appropriate Ignition Switch Replacement procedure in SI. Refer\015\012 to group number 2.188 of the parts catalog for part description and \015\012usage of the ignition switch.
