Having problems with your 2006 Chevrolet Uplander ?

2006 UPLANDER HAS STEERING PROBLEM... CLICKING NOISE when I drive slowly.. noise like (tik tik) This is from long time.. I went to my mechanic.. He tried to fix it twice but still same problem.. How can I slow this problem. I need your help. Thanks Pankaj

The most common problem with the Uplander steering that could cause that kind of ticking is the intermediate shaft in the steering column. GM used to sell a lubrication kit that would fix the problem but they've discontinued it. The only solution now is to replace the intermediate shaft in the column. It's not too expensive and you should be able to get the dealer to do it for about $250.
