Tire Change on 2006 Ford Explorer

\015 My husband is in a rural area with a flat tire. Has removed 5 lug nuts and cannot remove the tire. Suggestions?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 24-02-2020

Answers :

Kick the tire. Not only will it make him feel better, but it should come off. The center of the wheel is probably a tight fit where it fits on the 'hub' (where the brakes and wheel bearings are located. Kick the tire near the outer edge, continue all around 'til it comes off. Please let me know how you make out. countrycurt0
\015\012We rocked the Explorer sideways and drove it backward and forward about 10 feet in each direction with 2 lugnuts holding on the flat. Jacked it back up and the flat popped right off!!
\015\012Thanks a bunch. You saved us a lotta time and money. We had been working on it about two hours and by the time we got it fixed it was 11 pm..............thank God the bar across the street was still open.
\015\012I will be telling my family and friends about this remarkable website.
