Having problems with your 2006 Ford F-150 ?

I have a 2006 f-150 that the fan control switch only works on the higher settings 3 and 4 what could it be

To show you where moparownr is talking about :

Passenger side, you will need to open the glove box, and press in the rubber stopper ( right side of top of glove box ) , to allow the glove box to fall down towards the floor.
In there, you will see the 2 screws holding the Blower motor resistor in the blower duct.

The blower motor resistor, look down on the right bottom of the dash area and find your blower motor, there is a harness that connects it to the main wiring and one that goes over to the resistor, more than likely it is burned out, it is responsible for blower motor speeds slower than high.
