Having problems with your 2006 Ford Freestar ?

While driving at a steady speed at around 60-80km/h, experienced a jerking motion for a fraction of a second, feels like the transmission is sliping but RPM stays the same, Noticed the problem mostly occured when the road was a bit covered with snow. Any idea what the problem is?

It was most likely the traction control kicking in. As long as it doesnt do it on a normal dry or wet road then it was a result of normal operation. Hope this eases your worry!
