Having problems with your 2006 Ford Taurus ?

Car randomly does not start, battery tests fine, alternator good

\015 One time i get in to start the car and nothing, dash ligts all show. Not even an attempt or clicking from the starter. Battery tests fine, alternator is chargin. after it sat for a several hours it starts right up as normal. No warning or engine lights. Check operation of auto transmission neutral switch; if that is not faulty check 'Start' output from Ignition sw (or start slave relay) is OK;
\015\012If all above OK check for faulty starter motor operation.
