2006 honda civic windsheild wiper won't park

\015 My 2006 Honda civic windshield wipers will not park properly. They park about half way up the windshield. We replaced the windshield motor and it still parks about a 1/4 of the way up the windshield. Suggestions?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 25-05-2020

Answers :

Just encountered this issue with mine on my 2006 Civic Sedan EX. It was a $15 part $17 and change after tax (FROM the Honda Dealer) that attaches to the wiper motor. This is the part #: 76505-SNA-A02 AND here are the instructions to fix it. 8th Gen Wiper 07-071_wiper_motor_not_parking.pdf. I had the exact same issue. It was more prominent when the weather was cold but they would rarely park in the down position, the intermittent part didn't seem to work but after replacing this part, the wipers work as they did when new. Just take your time and as long as you follow the direction on the pdf you'll be fine.
For the Honda civic 2006, a 24 inch windshield wiper is needed for the passenger side and 28 inch windshield is needed for the driver side.------------------------------------------------------------------------
