Having problems with your 2006 Jeep Commander ?

I have a surging like it has bad plugs around 45 to 60 mphs what could it be

Sounds like you have the begining of a defective Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF) .
\015\012Check the duct to it for cracks or air leaks which can cause a lean condition.
\015\012Next some of these are vibration sensitive . while the car is on gently tap it and see if the idle changes if it does its defective.
\015\012Lastly,this sensor responds to air intake it tells ECU to make fuel adjustment based on volume and temperature of air intake. While vehile is ideling restrict the air intake and see if the MAF responds with a change in idle. If it does its ok if it doesn't its defective.
\015\012The absolute best way to check this item is with a scopemeter.
