I HAD THE LINKAGE REPLACED ABOUT 8 MONTHS AGO AND THE MECHANIC HAS TRIED LUBRICATING IT BUT NO SUCCESS. ANY IDEA'S?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 14-09-2020

Answers :

Ask the service manager at the nearest Ford dealership by phone if they will take a look and not charge you since it's a critical safety item and could be a manufacturer's defect. A sticking gas pedal is something they should take pretty serious since that part certainly should not fail on a five or six year old car and recent publicity surrounding the Toyota problems has made all dealerships more responsive to that type of consumer complaint or problem.
