Having problems with your 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca ?

I have exactly the same problem

\015 I have an 08 Subaru Impreza and the same thing happen to me. Out of nowhere I was driving around\302\240100 km/h with the cruise control on when it suddenly disengaged and the check engine, stability control off came up and cruise control light started to flash. It didn't go away after I had turned the engine off and back on, but when I took it to the service and left the car there they said that when they started the engine there was nothing on and nothing on the computer showed as fault (I had I feeling that they were not telling the whole truth). Now after not even a week it happened again\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 24-02-2020

Answers :

When your check engine light comes on it is stored in the pcm ,and most vehicals actualy store everything about that moment when it happens meaning it will store all info in freeze frame when this happens so the mechanic can access the computer and check first for the codes then freeze frame data. also I would check with subaru for any recalls and tsb's and see if any purtain to this. this could be a speedsensor or a bad abs sensor wheel sensor ect and most sensors can be checked for resistance they ohm each out and compare it to the value it should be. the techs they have might not be trained enough to tackle this talk to the head service person and find out.
