Having problems with your 2006 Suzuki Forenza ?

No low beam lights or DRL

\015 I just bought the car. Low beams do not work from turn signal multi-switch or DRL. No DRL activity at all, exterior lights or dash.\012\012Slice block recall repair done in 2009. Inspection confirms and I see little sign of heat damage. \012\012I have checked/eliminated: bulbs, fuses, headlight relay in engine compartment fuse block, relay closest to drivers seat of the trio under the left side of dash, turn signal multi-switch.\012\012I measure 7 volts at splice repair. I measure 11 volts at headlight plug and r & l low beam fuses and not enough umph to even light the small bulb in circuit tester\012\012Things I still suspect. 1) DRL module (I have illustration from Chiltons but still can not find it under the dash) is there a way to check it with out buying one? 2) bad ground - open to Sugestions 3) wiring harness damage under left front fender (something I ran across doing this research. \012\012I am really sick of reading and trouble shooting this issue but I refuse to let this proble push me around like I am a punk.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 14-01-2019

Answers :

The recall splice repair is where to start. the repair may be bad again. had a friend that had the same problem. told him to check the splice and try to get rid of the splice block. he did and the lights worked fine.
