Having problems with your 2007 Chevrolet Malibu SS Sedan New Cars ?

My 2007 Malibu SS seat belt light comes on every couple of minutes even though the seat belt is fastened. I took it to the dealer and they said they think a module may be bad but will not guarantee it will fix the problem and It cost $350.00 to replace this module.. Now my interior lights do not come on when the door is opened, this problem comes and goes every couple of days (works for 3 days, does not for 4 days, works again for a couple of days). Do you think this is the module they refered t

Answers :

If you have multiple problems , then it is almost for sure the BCM (Body Control Module).
BCM can be tested at the dealer.
The BCM looks like a black box , and is located behind the glovebox.

Regarding the part you can find it used from $85: 2006 CHEVROLET MALIBU Body Control Module BCM ECM 2 MI
