\015 2007 Cheyenne, made in Mexico, Charge Voltage is variable when driving. Will start out at 14.2 -14.4 and then go to 12.7-13. volts, sometimes at idle without driving the truck. Sometimes you can drove it and the voltage will stay at 13.8-14.4 volts. I checked to see if this was related to the electric cooling fans, but the variation in voltage happens when the fans are off.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 09-12-2019

Answers :

I don't see any problem unless you are having a starting problem or dim headlights..\015\012
\015\012What you are describing is pretty normal behavior.  The voltage regulator senses the battery condition and the electrical load on the battery.\015\012
\015\012If you are having problem anew battery will solve it.
