Having problems with your 2007 Chrysler Town & Country LX New Cars ?

Rear rotor on a 2007 chrysler town and country won't budge.

\015 Replacing rear pads and want to turn the rotors but they won't budge. Per AutoZone there is no puller needed. Niether Checker or AutoZone had a Haynes for that year.\015\012Any trick to getting them off? Calipers and pads are already off and washer lug lock is off?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 27-09-2021

Answers :

Sounds like you have that old "rust" problem. Rust and calcium build up around the hub and behind the rotor. Wire brush as much as you can around the hub. Using a medium hammer tap the rotor near the hub between the studs. Take care not to hit the studs because this will damage the threads. Sometimes applying some heat with a small butane torch will help free the rotor. Do not heat severely, this will cause warpage. Take your time and you will be successfull. Good luck Moe
