Having problems with your 2007 Dodge Charger SRT8 Sedan ?

Electrical Failure of many features.

\015 I recently jacked up one whole side of my 2007 Charger R/T up so that the wheels were off the ground about 4 inched, frontand back of the same side of the car, to istall a undercar lighting. After righting the car, the BAS/ESP warning light stayed lit, the turn signals, horn, high beams, and wiper blades don't work. Is the a sensor that has to be reset from lifting both wheels of the same side of the car so that it was on resting on only the two wheels on the oppposite side? How do I fix this? Is it a main fuse? Is there a common plug the affects all of these? The engine does starts, no problems there.\015\012Thanxz......Jeff\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-06-2018

Well, for starters if your car has a stabling system on it, you can check your owners manual for jacking the car to see if it tells you to turn off a switch and where the switch is and you can reset it by turning it off and then back on again and starting the car, it will then relevel the car.... lincoln has this on their vehicles, switch is supposed to be turned off before jacking the car ever. If there is no switch, then dealer needs to see the car. As for the lighting, it sounds like you might have cut or spliced into the wiring system for your lights. I would start by checking the fuse for those lights and seeing if its blown and replacing it. If it is the fuse, and you replace it and it blows again, you definately hooked up your wires wrong...maybe put a ground wire to a hot wire which will blow the fuse... if you can't find the problem, take the car to the dealer, it's under warranty still I am sure.
