After looking over the spacifics of the Kenwood device, it is indeed not possible to display vehicle information on it, there is no interface for such data.

Essentially, you cannot get the information from the current device into the kenwood device for it to display it.

I'm very sorry i could not be of more help, but the device just does not support this feature.

You can find the manual for your kenwood device here: DNX9140
There are a few ways this can be done 1) your stock cd player has to come out and be replaced with that. but i cant tell if your air controles were there?

\015\0122) you can make a custome mount on top of your dash now you can do it or car toys can do it if you feel that you can it is a lot cheeper you make a wood frame for it then you get some thin black fabrick and some fiberglass resin cover the frame with the fabrick and then aply the resin as you aply the resin stretch the faberic tight let it dry now its as hard as fiberglass and has a smooth look that can be painted mount it to your dash and install.
