Gday mate geoff here, lets start with the fuses, there are 3 fuse sets before you get to the switch, fusable links at the battery, look like a piece of wire, but rated, also a relay fuse pack under the bonnet, large 30 and 50 amp fuses and your relays, also do realize a specific test light is used on these vehicles as the old type drag to much power and can damage computer, check the relays if they are 'clicking' when switch activated, also if you have a tail light out there will be a rusted earth conection on the rear, start with the earths from there ,cleaning them and correcting any faults found, hope this starts the process correctly for you, geoff.
