Having problems with your Cars & Trucks ?

My tail light fuse on my92 s-10 just keeps on blowin and when it blows my tail lights and my inside dash lights doint work, howcome it would b doin that??

\015 It calls for a 20 amp fuse and i put one in and it blowed on my way to work yesterday and then i put in a 25 amp fuse after that one blowed and it blew on my way home tonight then i stopped at a gas station and put a 30 amp fuse in it and it blew before i even put my truck in park so i had to just drive home with one foot on the brake and the other on the gas!\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 10-12-2018

Answers :

Check your tail light and other running light sockets for corrosion.
Pull each and every bulb to check it, also check the back side of the socket.
(Your headlights are not part of this circuit.)
Rust or water with rust will conduct enough current to blow the fuses.
Please revert back to the 20 amp fuse, as you may damage the wires leading to the bulbs in places you won't be able to find or fix.
It's unlikely that it's one of the actual light bulbs, all light bulbs tend to go open instead of shorted, but you can check them too.
