When reverse is selected idle speed increases very little but no movement

\015 When in neutral idle speed is normal ,but when reverse is selected idle speed increases by about 50 RPM,the vehicle dose not move at all.there are no noises or rattles at all .The forward gears all seem to work ok\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 10-12-2018

Valve body may be worn enough to lower the hydraulic pressure that goes to the clutch packs for reverse. That would explain both the higher rpm and no reverse.
Soun like a problem with the Torque Converter or valve solanoids stucked. FIrst checl trans fluid level in good conditions (without brun smell odor and clear colors).
