Having problems with your Cars & Trucks ?

1995 jeep cherokee sport 4.0 (automatic trans) laid up for months now engine is locked/frooze up. How/What do I do to free it up ???.

\015 Car had blown head gasket, now replaced gasket, only to learn that engine is froze up from sitting for months (at least 6 mos). Starter wont crank it, and I cant turn it over (free it up) with a power handle. Can it be pushed to free it up (it has an auto trans) ???\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 20-01-2020

Answers :

I've seen transmission fluid used to free up motors. pour some into crankcase, roughly a court. wait several minutes then try turning it over again. oil will need to be changed once motor moves
