How can I access the battery in a 1993 Mazda E2000?

\015 From research, I believe the battery is located under the driver's seat. However, in my vehicle, the driver's seat cannot be moved - it doesn't seem.\012Where, oh where, is my E2000's battery?\012\012Thank you\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-06-2018

The battery is under the drivers seat. Move the entire seat forward but sliding the leaver at the front bottom of the seat (as you would to adjust the seat) and push the whole seat as forward as you can and then wind the actual seat back forward (dial on the door side of the seat back). Pull up the plastic trim and unscrew the metal capping. Under there you will find the battery and also, what I think is, the overflow container for the radiator.
Hi Lisbeth, I have no idea of the vehicle you're referring to. The batteries of most Mazda's are under the hood with the engine. very few vehicles have batteries in the cabin as the fumes can be toxic and dangerous. Regards John
