Answers :

Possible that the fan belt or bearings or the alternator bearings are worn out, check the idler pulley bearings and settings.
If you pour some water over the belt and bearings side the sound might subside to confirm the case, Also using a sound probe could identify the Source of noise accurately and seems to come from the outside of the engine.
