2011 A4 2.0 (143) TDI SLINE - OIL SENSOR

\015 OIL SENSOR NOT SHOWING ANY OIL NOW BUT 5 DAYS AGO WAS SHOWING FULL. NO SIGN OF ANY LEAKS - FAULTY OR LOOSE? WHERE IS SENSOR ON ENGINE?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 26-09-2022

Answers :

The sensor is within the engine sump.
These types of sensors can be prone to failure because of high internal heat.
If you have a dipstick, then manually check yourself.
If not, then drop the oil, measure the quantity and replace the sensor if necessary.
