Heater blasts extra hot air when turning steering wheel

\015 Heater working normally until you make a turn. The heat coming from the vent increases and is quite hot. As soon as you straighten the wheels it settles back down. What gives?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 17-06-2019

Answers :

Sounds like a problem with the clock spring under the steering wheel if you have steering wheel mounted controls...if not...then there is a wiring iussue with the heater/ac control panel
Check to see if your heater control valve in the engine bay is resting on the inner tie rods. You could be opening the valve and closing it when you turn the wheel and the inner tie rod moves.
