Having problems with your Cars & Trucks ?

Lose power I have a toyota estima lucida. 95 model. Yesterday I started it up and all the power was lost. I fiddled with the terminals on the battery. the first time I did it, the car turned over and then the power went. the 2nd time I fiddled with it, the power returned and the car started. What's happening? Is it the 'brushes" like a friend said. If it is, what and where is that. Do I need to replace with something?
