2003 Ford F150 truck having trouble!
\015 I got in my truck to leave work a few days ago and when I cranked the truck, it would not let me put it in gear. I checked all my lights and none of the brake lights were out. I did find online that I could turn the key to the on position, then turn it back one click, then put the truck into Neutral, then crank the truck and I was able to drive it as long as I don't put it back into Park position. Then I will have to start over. \012Took the truck to a local mechanic yesterday and he check the ignition switch and said it was fine. He also ran the computer diagnostic on it and found 9 codes.\012The codes that he read are:\012\012B1892 - Air bag tone warn circuit fault\012C1096 - Hydraulic Pump motor circuit open\012C1226 - Brake Warning Lamp Short to Ground\012B1676 - Battery Voltage Out of Range\012U1262 - SCP Data fault for J 1850 BUS\012B1356 - Ignition run circuit fail\012C1284 - Oil Pressure switch fault\012P0460 - Fuel Level Sensor Circuit fault\012P0125 - Coolant Temperature too low/closed loop\012\012This is a 2003 Ford F150 Lariat with the Triton V8 engine. Its a super cab with the big back seat. Any ideas what might be going on?\012Thanks\015
It's possible you have a ground circuit problem. Ask your auto tech to look at his wiring diagram to see if they're are all linked together
Check the fuses some of those trucks have a fuse to let the slector go into gear when the brake pedel is pushed down
