Answers :

The clutch cable is the most likely cause. I've had 3 wear out and snap on my '92. It's fairly easy to check and replace. Follow the clutch pedal arm up to the top and find the hook at the end with the eye of the cable on it. If it''s loose, the cable's broke. Take it off the hook. In the engine compartment, the cable sheath is attached to the firewall with 2 bolts (10 mm heads). Remove them. The other end goes through a bracket on top of the transmission to an 1 1/4" wide bar. The end of the cable is threaded and there should be a specialized adjustment nut (14mm) on it. Remove it. If you're unsure of any of that, a peek at the replacement cable should make it all clear. If not, you're in over your head; it's time to call in some help.
You have to actually look at the car to determine anything

You can't guess at it
