Having problems with your Cars & Trucks ?

99 Toyota corolla. I just replaced the brakes all the way around a month ago. pads on front, shoes on back. It now makes an awful grinding sound when the brakes are applied and sounds like metal to metal. Pulled off tires again and everything looks good, pads, shoes, rotors, drums. So what would make it sound and feel like that

Answers :

You'll have to determine which wheel the sound is coming from and check it again. It could be something hitting the rotor or drum other than the shoes and pads. Like a brake spring or guide.
You can raise each front wheel one at a time and have someone step on the brakes while you listen too. This may turn on the ABS light however.
