Having problems with your Cars & Trucks ?

Front brake issue

\015 I have completly rebuilt my front calipers. I used an OEM kit that had all seals and pistons. I also replaced front brake lines with new stainless lines. Now that my brakes are installed the calipers seem to be dragging on the rotor. Not sure the problem or how to fix. Could there be air trapped in caliper still? I spent a lot of time bleeding brakes.\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 10-12-2018

Answers :

Please tell me you honed the caliper before putting new piston and seals in also the inner seal is probally backwards there is only one way they go on it is to relieve the pressure off the rotor it acts like a spring if you believe you did it all correct check the porportioning valve
