95 chrysler sebring timing

\015 I just had my alternator belt replaced because it snapped. now the car wont start and a mechanic says that its the timing belt, what can I do besides pay 600$ for the work?\015 Posted / edited by AnonymousUser on : 18-01-2021

You could have the car towed to another shop for a second opinion.
A mechanic would check for compression and visually look at the belt to confirm. If the timing belt is broken, you may have damaged the valves too.
