Having problems with your Audi A4 ?

When do I replace timing belt on 2008 Audi A4 (2.0) ? Dealer says 75,000 miles Manual says 110,000 miles current milage is 74,400 Thanks for your guidance. Paul Worley

Answers :

The manual states the maximum, I always try to replace them around 90 thousand
miles. On some engines, the valves and pistons are an interference setup and if the
timing belt jumps time or breaks ,then the cylinders strike the valves ,requiring
remanufacturing of the head.
