Having problems with your Audi A6 ?

I have a 2001 Audi a6 2.8 quattro and it has a tank on drivers side in the engine compartment that says to add Hydraulic fluid, what is this for and how much does it hold?

Answers :

This is the slave cylinder which supplies hydraulic fluid to the clutch to disengage it from the pressure plate when the clutch pedal is pressed down putting the transmission in a neutral state. There should be a line or mark that will indicate where to fill it to as well
