If you can find the resevoir for the power steering, which is supposed to be located (Driver's side in front of the engine near the ground. See that canister in front of the engine with the screw top? i had to look that up) you will be able to tell by looking at it how much is in there. usually there are some lines indicating what level you are at.

\015\012as for the transmission fluid, locate the dipstick It will be located toward the back of the engine compartment. It may be a different color than the motor oil dipstick. The transmission fluid dipstick may even have a picture or words on it. A telltale sign is that the tube the dipstick fits in is smaller than the motor oil tube.(had to look that one up as well) when you pull it out, it too will visually tell you what level you are, full, low or none. pull it out and wipe off the stick, then replace it making sure it fits all the way otherwise you won't get a correct reading. if you need to add some your owners manuel should tell you the exact kind you need if you don't have one, there should be a plate on the side of the transmission.
