Having problems with your Buick LaCrosse ?

It's a 2005 Cxl with 75,000 miles. It was operating perfectly. I pulled into a garage and turned the moter off. It then would not start. The Check Engine light was on. The battery seems OK. I checked the gas cap. It doesnt seem to be tight.Anyway to start the car to get to a service dealer?

Will it turn over? If not then either the starter or the starter solenoid/relay is bad. If it won't turn over, then you can try jumping the solenoid with a screwdriver to start it, if that still doesn't allow it to turn over, then the starter may be bad and then there is no way to get it started at this point most likely. What you then should do is remove the starter and get it tested at an auto parts store, many do it for free, so call before you go to one to see what they charge if you get this far. If it does turn over, then many things could be wrong from no spark to a fuel supply problem which we can further investigate if this is the problem. Let me know how this turns out.
