Having problems with your Buick LeSabre ?

My 2000 buick lesabre v6 3.8 litre keeps dieing on me interimitantly. First I replace the fuel filter and I had the alternator and battery checked. Than I replaced the mass air flow sensor and it was still dying on me. Then I gave up and took it to a shop and they siad it was the fuel pump and I paid $795 dollars to have it replaced. I just got home and I was sitting at the mailbox and it died again. It started right back up but now I do not even know what to do or what it could be?

I had the same problem at about 135k miles. The repair shop I took it to suggested that I allow them to clean the EGR valve. At that time, they advised me that a new valve would costs over $150 plus labor. They offered to clean if for $25 so I let them. It solved the problem nicely. No more rough idleing or dieing.
Possibly a Crank position sensor going bad.
